Borneo is the large island that lies just south of the Philippines. It is made up of three nations – the tiny country of Brunei, a holding of Malaysia that includes Sabah and Sarawak, and the Indonesia portion of Kalimantan. Keith and I independently explored a large portion of Borneo, and the highlight of our trip was to the Borneo Rain Forest in Sabah. But the entire island is very exotic and captivating.
