Located between Guatemala and Nicaragua in Central America, Honduras is known to the tourist mainly for its Bay Islands. On a personal trip, we stayed for a while on Rotan Island, and then went to the mainland to see Copan, the ancient city of the Mayans, first inhabited 2,000 years before Christ.
